PURPOSE

A business continuity schedule helps clarify your expectations of the supplier before, during and after a disruptive incident. Clauses can be used to make sure the supplier maintains and continues to validate their business continuity solutions to protect the delivery of their products or services to your business.

TOP TIPS

You could ask for a copy of the supplier’s business continuity plan before you engage in a contract. This will help you understand the business continuity solutions they have in place for the products or services they would provide. You should check the solutions resume their products or services to you within your recovery time objective, otherwise they may not be appropriate.
